Two-a-days *And Cheap Movie Date!!!*

Uhm.  No, not training… these darn tortillas.  I have been having two a day for three days now. 

Since I had to fast this morning for a 10:00a.m. blood test (routine checkup), and because I did “cardio” (just incline walking at a slow pace… s-l-o-w… no sweating, I didn’t want to wash my hair this morning – yes, I am THAT lazy!), I was STARVIN’ MARVIN by the time I could actually eat.  So I threw together another pizza.

I made this one saucier.  And baconier. Baconier. Mmmm.

Because I was STILL hangry, I threw together more chicken, veg, and olive oil mayo (I am OBSESSED with this stuff. I wish I could make it at home, but it never turns out yummy.), and ate some more.

And I pretty much had the same “chicken salad” for lunch, but on a coconut flour tortilla. No wonder I get sick of my food quickly. I get on kicks and wear them the eff out!.

I think we’re having a big juicy steak for dinner. CAN’T WAIT!!!  I will feel SO MUCH better after eating that than I did at the birthday party last night… six slices of pizza, a chili dog, BBQ chips, cake with tons of icing (by request, because icingismymostfavoritest part), beers, Doritos, and cheese & crackers… Yep. I throw down like a 200+ pound man… or maybe an even bigger gorilla.  What can I say? I like to eat! Open-mouthed smile  Good thing I don’t eat like that daily.

Random side note: I also CAN’T WAIT to watch the NEW X-Men in the theatre!!! Seth and I are definitely hitting up the cinema for a date night this weekend! WOOP!

On ANOTHER random side note, a friend shared a site with me this morning.  (Thanks Tori!!)  And, while I’m not a raw foodie by any means (I do not food discriminate! I want it all! Winking smile ), there are so many cool, raw “cheese” recipes on here that I might just have to try a couple!  Who doesn’t love cheese? or “cheese”? or cheeze?… whatever.  Take a look!

My hunger has been krazy this week. Seriously.

After training (crappo session) last night I had a bizarre salad with blue cheese, Asian Ginger Sesame dressing, raisins, and chicken! Ooooh, and wasabi & soy sauce almonds!

It tasted a lot better than it looked.

After dinner, we went to the mall. I bought nothing, but I did spy various truffle oils at TJ Maxx. Oh, yes, I will be returning for those!

When I got home. I made cookies.  Delicious cookies. I set out to make my often-requested oatmeal raisin cookies, only to find out we were out of some of the ingredients! Instead, I made some maple-y delicious soft sugar(?) cookies.  There were a few casualties.  They are so chewy and buttery.

Recipe to come! I asked Seth to bring the remaining cookies to work. They got rave reviews (and recipe requests! WOOP! I hope I can remember it!)

Hunger has been more manageable today. THANK GOODNESS!

I’m debating a rest day today! BUT, the gym will be closed this weekend.

 

… even more exciting, we are going to open mic night tonight! WOOP!

Disconnected

There was an internet outage in town yesterday, so I have a lot to catch up on!

Over lunch, I hit up Pocket Yoga HD on the iPad for a 45 minute stretchy-bendy-sweaty session. Oh my goodness. The 15 minutes extra meant more poses, different flows, and crap it was more challenging.  Let’s juts say that this BEGINNER was NOT READY to bust out a head stand in the middle of my office when the time came. It caught me completely off guard! LOL! 

After yoga and before weights, I ate a spicy blend of chicken, brown rice, and cauliflower.

I left work early (since I was unable to do anything here) only to find our internet was out at home, too! YIKES!  It’s amazing how much more free time I had… Winking smile

Hubs and I went to the gym, hit up legs, and we both decided that we don’t get a good workout at the new gym. I must admit that I LOVE working out to fun poppy songs by P!NK and Brittney.  I hammered out hack squats, SLDLs, calves, leg presses, hamstrings, curls… and I’m not even the slightest bit sore today.

The weather was BEAUTIFUL outside yesterday! 67 and not a cloud in the sky…even this run-down industrial town was almost pretty!

Once we got home, I microwaved some noodles, threw some beans under the broiler, and sliced up some pork tenderloin to pan-fry.

These noodles are GOO-ood.  The whole meal was good!

After dinner, we went to visit SIL, BIL and baby, drank shots of tequila (NOT EVERYONE! LOL!), and SIL gave me candy to bring home. I had four Hershey’s Kisses, two of which were mint chocolate. Mmmm.

Once we got home, I baked awful cookies, taste-tested one then tossed the rest. Recipe #FAIL.  Dark cocoa powder… oats… stevia… sounded good. I was wrong.

We stayed up late NOT EATING COOKIES Sad smile and watching American Idol on DVR. Maybe I’ll get some stuff to make GOOD cookies tonight. Ha! I’m want to find (or concoct) a good CLEAN recipe.  Any recs?

This morning I woke up late (because I went to sleep late Winking smile), so I opted out of cardio… by default.  This morning was not a complete snooze fest, though. I tried this sample I recently received in the mail.

I surprisingly LOVE it!  Not sure how “natural” it really is, though!

I forgot my veggies today (Actually, my cabbage in the fridge didn’t look too fresh, so I tossed it!), so my first meal was a lot of chicken, a lot of rice, and a little coconut oil.

Now I’m sitting here sipping a cup of hot tea wondering if I want to do lunchtime yoga or pick up veggies (or SUSHI!! craving it!). Decisions, decisions!
